Alaska Village Missions is a faith based ministry that trusts the Lord’s provision for its operation and special projects. AVM will not go into financial debt as we minister in Alaska. All projects must board approved, and fully or partially funded before the work begins. Do any of the projects below interest you? If so, partner with us as we take steps to further God’s work in Alaska.
Alaska Village Missions is often involved in special projects that need significant funding. Whether it is building new housing on our Bible school campus, constructing churches in the villages or upgrading our radio equipment we would love for you to get involved. Please mark your gift: with the appropriate project number from our project page.
Project: Alaska Bible Institute, Tri-Plex Construction Fund: ABI Fund Start Date: June 1, 2011
The student body of Alaska Bible Institute has been growing steadily over the past several years. New growth means the need for campus improvements and new housing construction. A new Tri-Plex will allow room for two additional student families and an additional staff family. This Tri-Plex is well underway but not yet completed. Consider impacting future students as they study God’s Word.
Estimated Project Costs: $120,000
Funds Still needed: $45,000
Project: Village Ministry, Village Survey Fund: Village Fund Start Date: April 1, 2012
This summer AVM missionaries will be travelling around Southwestern Alaska in order to survey and connect with many native villages that have no church. This two month long survey trip is sure to be effective as we seek to plant churches in remote Alaska. The main expense for this trip will be aviation fuel and with rising fuel costs the dollars add up quickly. Please consider contributing to this groundbreaking endeavor.
Estimated Project Costs: $5,850
Funds Still Needed: $5,850
